Do I have to pay for With a Nudge or is it free?

With a Nudge is free for you! The educational institution who provided you access to With a Nudge is taking care of your subscription. They want to do everything in their power to support you in reaching your dreams! Based on the challenge you're working on and the stage you're at, we try to suggest optional programmes that are offered by your institution and could support you in your quest. Some of them are free, others are offered to you at a discounted price as you're part of their alumni community. You're free to buy one or not. If you do buy one, please don't forget to tell them the programme was suggested by With a Nudge :)

Block and/or Report

Your safety comes first at Nudge. If something happens that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable (abusive messages, microaggressions, catfishing or any other type of incident), please report it. If you'd like to flag a fake profile or a user pretending to belong to an alumni community that he/she/they are not part of, please go to your Settings and click on Contact us.You can share there as much or as little information as you feel comfortable with, but the more information we have, the easier it is for us to support you and take action.Once we receive the report, our moderation team will review it as soon as possible. Due to privacy guidelines, we can’t always reveal the results of a report, but please know that we take every report seriously and handle each case with care.Feel free to reach out to our team if you have additional questions; we’re here for you!

Update or delete
my personal data

Update or delete my personal data

If you'd like to update any of your personal data, please go to the tab Account, then Profile. Select the type of data you'd like to update (Personal, Educational or Professional) and update the required fields. If you'd like to update one of the following 3 fields - university, enrolled program and/or graduation date, they cannot be directly edited by you as we don't expect this data to change over time. However, if you entered incorrect data the first time, you can fill in the "Contact us" form in the Account tab and we'll update or delete the requested data for you.
You can also delete your account by going to your Account tab and tap 'Delete my account'.

Connection is a two-way street. Before a conversation can get off the ground, your match needs to have accepted your help request. If you're the one who received a help request, you can start chatting as soon as you accept that request.

If your profile has been blocked it is because you’ve violated our community guidelines based on mutual respect. The safety of our users is top priority, so we don’t tolerate misuse of our platform. To ensure each member of our community is treated with kindness and respect, everyone’s expected to adhere to our guidelines--both on and off Nudge.As a friendly reminder, here are some examples of what will get you blocked on Nudge:Rude or disrespectful behaviorThis can include:Ignoring boundaries and taking the conversation in a sexual direction without consent. Body shaming, racism, hate speech, misogyny, and bullying are all examples of unacceptable behavior on our platform.Doing anything illegalIf it’s against the law, don’t do it.

To make sure that we provide you the most relevant matches to help you reach your dreams, we show you the list of users who perfectly match your filters… and more! We think that sometimes, great matches can be hidden because they don't meet perfectly all your conditions but we believe that, based on our experience, they have other great assets and could still be an amazing match for you. You're free to send them a help request or not.

How can I unblock a user?

Once you've blocked a user, it's not possible to unblock them.

Can I use With a Nudge without giving local permissions?

Can I use Nudge without
giving local permissions?

Yes you can. If you do not want to give permission to With a Nudge to access your Camera or Files, you will not be able to upload a profile picture but you can still use the app. A generic avatar will replace your picture.

How can I delete
my profile picture?

How can I delete my profile picture?

To remove a photo from your profile on the mobile app, follow these steps:

Start by going to the Account tab, then Profile.
Click on the trash bin icon next to "Upload profile photo" and that photo will be deleted.
